Palestinian “expert” on Israeli Affairs tells PA TV: “Ideas of the Satans bring decisions denying the freedom of religion through a racist approach” |
Source: Official Palestinian Authority TV, Dec. 12, 2016 |
Official PA TV program Panorama of the Hour, hosting Palestinian expert on Israeli affairs Ahed Farwaneh, on the ban on broadcasting Muezzin calls by loudspeaker
Palestinian expert on Israeli affairs Ahed Farwaneh: (Calls of “Allahu Akbar” can be heard in the background –Ed.) “Words that have been heard in the skies of Jerusalem since the Islamic conquest, bells ringing in the church, religious ceremonies that call to worship and prayer – this is one of the rights that people realize. [But] then my hand was turned away and ideas of the Satans bring decisions denying the freedom of religion through a racist approach: The strong survive.”On Nov. 13, 2016, a bill to ban religious institutions from broadcasting over loudspeakers was approved for a preliminary reading in the Israeli Parliament. The bill is intended to prevent noise pollution. This bill is referred to by many as the “Muezzin Law,” although it does not refer to any specific religion.
Other countries have already approved or attempted legislation for regulating the use of loudspeakers in mosques in order to limit noise pollution. These include India, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Bahrain, the United Emirates, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France, the UK, Austria, Norway, and Belgium, and the US. The PA has also passed legislation regarding the use of loudspeakers in mosques in order to reduce noise pollution.

Israel is “like a vampire in its violence and hatred to wipe out the Palestinian people” |
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Nov. 5, 2015 |
“Apparently, the Israeli occupation will continue to act against everything Palestinian, and will always show great fervor, like a vampire in its violence and hatred, to wipe out the Palestinian people. This time, the main target is Hebron, as Martyr (Shahid) after Martyr [from there], and all Hebron are potential Martyrs. Everyone is in danger of bleeding till his soul ascends to Heaven and a knife is thrown by his side. In the shadow of this, the Palestinian sport has proven once again that it is one of the most important factors in national unity for the realization of important meanings such as social cohesion. My dear reader, imagine a game for first place in the [football] league, and that this game is the ‘Clasico,’ which is usually very competitive. How could you imagine that all these factors and meanings could become nothing, and even turn into calls from one side of the audience to the other, and sometimes the audiences of both teams call in one voice for Palestine, its capital, and its Martyrs’ blood, so that victory becomes unimportant. That is what happened in the game between the [Shabab] Al-Khalil and Shabab Al-Dhahiriya [teams]… In this game, we felt the absence of a fan who was always present at the ‘Clasico’ and participated in all the events for the devout fans. However the occupation caused his absence, murdering him with gunfire in Jerusalem, and his pure body is still being held by them. He who was the most active devout fan of the Al-Khalil team – Martyr Basel Sidr.”

PLO Ambassador demonizes Israel as “rampant villains” and “wild bull” |
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Jan. 29, 2015 |
On Jan. 28, 2015, Hezbollah bombed Northern Israel, killing two Israeli soldiers. Adli Sadeq, PLO Ambassador to India and regular columnist for the official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, wrote the following op-ed in response to the bombing:
“Hezbollah’s operation (i.e., shooting of missiles) at Sheba Farms [in Northern Israel]… the most important aspect of this resistance operation was the fact that it put the quarrelsome ones (i.e., Israel) into a state of unrest, for [it showed them that] not every bombing produces harmless results, and not every escalation is free of consequences or considerations to be taken by the aggressors (i.e., Israelis).
In addition, no one in the Arab world will be able to profess his friendship with those addicted to carrying out bloody attacks against all their neighbors (i.e., Israel), since their daily actions would convince all the Arabs, despite their [internal] conflicts and disagreements, that whoever fails to oppose these rampant villains, within the possible constraints, deserves to be isolated. Furthermore, even those Arabs who present themselves as moderate and as supporters of peace will sooner or later find themselves wishing that this wild bull be contained…
We do not deny our joy at the fact that this quarrelsome occupation received a limited response, the minimal response on Hezbollah’s part. The occupiers thought that no one would dare fire at them, but from now on they will think twice before embarking on a ‘joyride’ war against Lebanon. And they have already understood that if they do, they will suffer exactly as the Lebanese!”

PA daily: “Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to the rampaging of the occupation… and to the absurdity of their mythological delusions” |
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Oct. 30, 2014 |
Headline: “The purification of the Al-Aqsa Mosque”
Article from the culture section of the official PA daily by poet Al-Mutawakkil Taha
“Hell has many gates, and the most dangerous gate is the gate of the alleged false Temple. When they pass through the streets in their heavy army boots, they shouted, as above every place where a prophet prayed or bowed there is an angel nearby. If we wish, victory is in our hands!
…
And insanity is preferable to cowardice, and whoever does not go crazy is a person who cannot be trusted. The viper glances at the eyes of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and blurs its senses. It almost submits, but it is greater than the mouth of the viper. And the blood is damp on the ground of Jerusalem.
…
And we will say: Enough! And the gods will smile on us. Our silence allowed the absurdity. And there is an ancient evil wandering the hills surrounding Jerusalem, and no one is monitoring it!
O confused listener. Do not hold your breath, and listen properly to the stones. Every time we shake the hand of the murderer, we are destroying the rocks and killing the trees. If Jerusalem is our prison, it is their grave. And your people, with its bare chest, breathing at your back, O Al-Aqsa Mosque.
…
How can a Muslim or Arab dare claim that he is a real Muslim, when the Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to violations, desecration, and extreme Biblical games? How can anyone open his mouth and say ‘I am an Arab’ while the Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to the rampaging of the occupation and its settlers and to the absurdity of their mythological delusions? Saladin (i.e., Muslim leader and Sultan of Egypt and Syria who defeated the Christian crusaders and conquered Jerusalem in 1187 CE) forbade himself to smile and was ashamed of everyone who laughed while the Al-Aqsa Mosque was held captive!…

Netanyahu and his associates are “devils”; “their evil souls tempt them to murder more and more” |
Source: Official PA daily, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 8, 2014 |
Op-ed by Fathi Al-Bis, regular columnist for the official PA daily:
“In his response to the barbaric Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, particularly in the Gaza Strip, the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, said: ‘It seems the devil has possessed [Israeli Prime Minister] Netanyahu.’ We in this region, for our part, say that Netanyahu and his associates truly are devils, unparalleled in perpetrating evil acts. Their evil souls constantly tempt them to murder more and more, and nothing else, under the illusion that murder is what will protect and save them from the existential fear concerning the fate of their cancerous entity, which can only be cured by [its] leaving our land.”Note: This article was published during the 2014 Gaza war as Hamas was firing thousands of rockets at Israel and as Israel was responding with Operation Protective Edge, which aimed at destroying Hamas’ terror infrastructure and ability to launch rockets at Israel. |

Source: Official PA TV Live, July 9, 2014 |
“My enemy, oh my enemy, stop your crimes.
Treaty breaker! Treacherous!
If you pull out my eyes, my heart will still see.
If you cut off my hands, my chest is knives and swords.
My enemy, oh imperialism, this homeland is ours.
This land will be tilled only by our hoes.
My enemy, oh my enemy, stop your crimes.
My enemy, oh snake, you are coiled around the land.
We, noble and courageous, on the day of battle shall stand.
You have no choice, oh enemy, but to leave my country.”
