Pamela Geller Defies Fatwa in Florida

Here is a summary of Pamela Geller’s presentation to the ACT chapter in FL,  by a member and a contributor artist in the “Draw Mohammed Art Contest and Exhibition” May 3, 2015.

“I have been the target of death threats, [and] multiple assassination plots,” said Pamela
Geller, explaining her book’s title, Fatwa. “It is a death sentence … A legal ruling … under Islam.”
Geller spoke via Skype during a meeting of Act Space Coast, a chapter of Act for America,
held in Viera, Florida, on Nov. 14, 2017.
Printed below are some of Geller’s quotes, reorganized as a summary; as well as her answers to a few questions from the audience:

PG: The biggest fight is for the freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is the foundation of a free society. Without it, a tyrant can wreak havoc unopposed as his opponents are silenced. Putting up with being offended is essential in a pluralistic society. And when people differ on bases of truth.  If a group will not bend without resorting to violence, that group will rule unopposed.

PG: Islamophobia is a term that amounts to nothing more than the enforcement of the Sharia in the marketplace of ideas. Any criticism of jihad terror that examines its ideological roots in Islam is called Islamophobia. The word is used to intimidate people into thinking there is something wrong with opposing jihad terror.

PG: “Alahu Akbar” is – was Muhammad’s jihad war cry. Its what he and his legions of Muslim soldiers would wail as they went into a village to destroy it … Muhammad would wait until daybreak before he would attack the village. If he heard the Muslim call to prayer. [Geller sings] “Allahu Akbar.” … He would not attack that village. That declaration is: “My god is greater than your god.” It is also, “I am a Muslim, don’t attack me … go the village next door.” … But Jake Tapper [of CNN] is here to tell you that “Allahu Akbar” is a beautiful expression.

PG: How are they all [the media] walking in lock-step? … Two weeks after 9-11, … the Society for Professional Journalists issued a dictate, an editorial edict on how to report on terrorism … To not report on religion. Always show Muslim Americans, Middle-Easterners, in a positive light … Mention Christian radicalism … [Geller sarcastically suggests] “Jesus Akbar.” … We are told in the wake of every jihad attack, that the real victims are Muslims.
Page 1 of 2 PG: The media self-enforces the Sharia. They will not criticize Islam. They will not have my colleagues and myself on. They will laud the worst jihad enablers and pro-Sharia advocates like Linda Sarsour, who is a vicious anti-semite. She supports Sharia … Sharia in Saudi Arabia where she said the maternity leave is bar none the best in the world. Yeah, because the women can not leave the house!

Q: In World War II, the Japanese Americans were put in relocation centers because we did not know who the bad ones were … Today, if the good Islamists in America do not turn-in the bad ones, the saboteurs and terrorists, should they all also be put in relocation centers and maybe ultimately deported. And why, or why not?

PG Answer: … There will not be camps … This is a different war. And people think that this war is not winnable. We’re not even trying … Operation “Fetal Position” is not trying. No war has ever been won on defense … They will not even identify the enemy. The “War on Terror.” That is like saying World War II was a war on U-boats. War must be declared on Jihad … We need to understand that: This war is not like Christianity,Judiasm, Hinduism. In that, yes, it’s a religion. O.k, but it’s much more. Look, Jewish law pertains only to Jews. Canon law pertains only to Christians. Islamic law, Sharia law, asserts its authority over non-Muslims. Which is why non-Muslims are forced to convert …  Non-Muslims are subjugated and oppressed and slaughtered in non-Muslim countries … I don’t care
if you worship a stone. Just don’t stone me with it … Any mosque that is tied to a terror attack …  must be put up for surveillance. And if they are inciting or preaching Jihad, they must be closed …  We must stop immigration from Jihad nations.

Q: As you know, our freedoms exist only when exercised … When is the Second Annual Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest?

PG Answer: [Person that asked question] is a hundred percent right … The Declaration of Independence is the most beautiful and magnificent document – non-Muslim document – in American history. It is just a piece of paper if we don’t live it, and we don’t defend it, and we don’t protect it … [regarding the next] Muhammad art exhibit … I would have done another one. Iintended for it to be annual. But I will tell you right now … no venue will have it. Noone will host a Muhammad art exhibit in this country. Even though I took out those Jihadis … but … in a way, they won because everyone blamed me. I didn’t make the Muhammad exhibit a flashpoint. The Jihadis did. I’m not controversial. Killing cartoonists is controversial.
