“Sharia Police” in Germany Go On Trial For Enforcing Religious Zones

Eight Islamic extremists who patrolled the streets of Wuppertal, Germany in “Sharia police” vests are now eligible to face a trial on grounds of “violating laws against wearing uniforms with political messages”. The Salafists, who reject any form of democracy and practice a very conservative interpretation of Islam, attempted to enforce their beliefs by going inside night clubs and demanding that people stop drinking, gambling and listening to music.
