Ahmed Bedier, addresses the media following the federal terrorism trial of Noor Salman, the wife of Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen.

Reporting by TUW Media:

On June 12, 2016 Omar Mateen, killed 49 people and wounded 58 others.  Omar Mateen was killed in a shootout after  law enforcement breached the back wall of the Pulse nightclub.  Omar Mateen’s widow Noor Salman is now on trial for having prior knowledge of the  terrorist act and obstruction of justice.

In a 9-1-1 call shortly after the shooting began, Mateen swore allegiance to the leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and said the shooting was “triggered” by the U.S. killing of Abu Waheeb in Iraq the previous month. He later told a negotiator he was “out here right now” because of the American-led interventions in Iraq and in Syria, and that the negotiator should tell the United States to stop bombing.

Day two of the trial began when government prosecutors played graphic video tape of Omar Mateen firing into a crowded dance floor then methodically walking and shooting around the club.

One of the FBI Special Agents testified the carnage ended when Law Enforcement breached one of the back cinder block walls of the club.  Omar Mateen began firing on law enforcement officers and was quickly on his way to visit Allah.

Photographs presented into evidence showed the corpse of Omar Mateen clutching a Glock handgun.  Law Enforcement saw wires under Mateen’s body, fearing an explosive device, they sent in a robot to inspect the body.  No explosive device was found on Mateen’s person or his vehicle.

It took Law Enforcement nine days to fully process the scene of the second ISIS attack on US soil.

What is not being reported are a number of receipts inside a soft rifle case found in Omar Mateen’s vehicle parked at the scene and a dumpster closest to the shooters apartment.

June 3-9, 2016 there were multiple receipts for firearms, Glock Magazines,  and range time from the St. Lucie Shooting Center.

June 8, 2016 a Walmart receipt showed Mateen bought 2 boxes ammo, paw patrol, $598 worth of Jewelry.  Testimony put Noor Salman accompanying her husband on this trip but she denied knowing of the ammo purchase – which in my opinion is questionable.

There were also receipts to Disney property, Auntie Ann’s, Bass Pro Shops (Speed loaders, firearm magazines) King Falafel Restaurant, and Michael Kors.

These receipts appear to show that Noor Salman accompanied her husband on staking out other possible attack sites.

This is only Day 2 of the trial and these facts will be aggressively argued by the United States Government and Salman’s 4 person defense team – and we don’t know who is paying their legal fees.

One interesting side note.  On Day 1, Ahmed Bedier, an Islamic activist from Tampa, FL represented the Salman family in front of the media cameras outside the Federal Courthouse.  Ahmed Bedier’s brother Amir was killed by Egyptian troops in 2013,  Steve Emerson reports.  Amir Bedier’s possible ties to the Qtari and Egyptian designated terrorist group The Muslim Brotherhood are being widely reported.

Ahmed Bedier posted pictures of himself on Facebook participating in Muslim Brotherhood rallies in Egypt.

The Salman families Islamic political sympathies are tied to their Muslim Brotherhood spokesperson  Ahmed Bedier.  Any sympathy the Salman family may have garnered speaking ill of Omar Mateen vanished when they associate with terrorist sympathizers like Ahmed Bedier.
