In a hidden audio recording that captured a Parkland, Florida planning meeting of the highly anticipated #MarchForOurLives event in Washington, D.C by the anti-NRA Giffords foundation, Debby Miller, a Broward County public school teacher who is also representing the Giffords foundation in coordination with her own personal press attaché stated, “Southwest Airlines has donated all these the seats to us.”
When contacted with a request for comment about Miller’s statement that Southwest donated all of the seats for the student protesters who are traveling to DC, Chris Mainz, a spokesperson for Southwest Airlines said, “That is not true. Southwest airlines is not providing any travel for students.”
Despite Southwest’s denial of sponsorship, Loomer has exclusively obtained the official itinerary for the #MarchForOurLives. It includes a detailed list of Southwest flight numbers, confirming that the protesters are in fact traveling with Southwest Airlines.
