It is amazing to think that 20 years ago on 9/11/2001, and the 8 weeks or so that followed, I spent 10-16 hours a day balancing my time by working in the rubble of the Pentagon and conducting investigations after the Islamic jihadis of Al Qaeda – supported by Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Pakistan – flew a plane into that building killing many good men and women.

It is stupefying to look back and see that over 4 Presidential administrations – each filled with numerous Secretaries of State and Defense, National Security Advisors, Chiefs of Staff, generals and admirals, key advisors, and others – not once has the United States of America identified the enemy we have been fighting for 20 years in multiple countries.

Not once.

Nor have American leaders held Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Iran accountable for their support of those 9/11 attacks.

As I reviewed the articles I wrote around the anniversaries of 9/11 in the last 10 years or so, a couple themes are consistent in them: the inability of U.S. leaders to do their basic job, like identifying an enemy in this war and formulating a coherent plan based on the enemy to destroy the enemy.

The same reason I put together the first training program in the government in 2006 to teach and train federal, state, and local officials about the Islamic Movement, its doctrine/modus operandi/networks, and how to investigate and dismantle these networks, is the same reason I created a private company in 2012 after President Obama defunded the work Steve Coughlin and I were doing at the Department of Defense.

That reason is this:

I believe it is reasonable to identify threats to a society, and remove those threats so innocent citizens can live the best lives possible in the one country on the planet which recognizes our inalienable rights given to us by God, and whose founders created a government under law which recognizes this self-evident truth.

Not too complicated.

The key to creating a coherent victory strategy is to know the enemy. Few leaders in America, at the national level, have demonstrated – in 20 years – he/she understands the threat and knows the enemy.

We know the names of those who did: names like Sue Myrick, Michele Bachmann, Chip Cravaack, Louie Gohmert, Allen West, and Trent Franks. All of these people were attacked by REPUBLICANS for speaking truth years ago.

As we all survey where America is today, it is tough to imagine things could get much worse. Yet, many Patriotic Americans go about their day as if things are mostly “normal” and America is just going through a “rough patch.”

If the level of treason, betrayal, and tyranny in the United States today has not broken through the heart and mind of some of our fellow citizens at this point – it is hard to imagine it ever will.
