Says colleague’s death after ‘coerced’ vaccination made her speak up
A person who says she works with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has come forward to Project Veritas with allegations that the federal government is covering up reports of adverse side effects from the COVID-19 vaccines.
Jodi O’Malley, who says she is a HHS insider who works in Arizona with the Indian Health Service branch—a federal health program for American Indians and Alaska Natives—secretly recorded conversations with colleagues discussing multiple cases of adverse reactions in people who had received the vaccine for COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.
The Epoch Times could not immediately independently verify O’Malley’s stated role.
She told investigative journalism nonprofit Project Veritas that she decided to speak up following the death of her colleague shortly after she was “coerced” into taking the vaccine.
In a sit-down interview with Project Veritas’s James O’Keefe, O’Malley said her co-worker died on Aug. 28, shortly after being “coerced” into taking her first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine against her religious beliefs. It isn’t clear which vaccine her colleague received.
“What prompted me to do this was when I was House Supervisor one night, and one of my coworkers had taken the [COVID-19] vaccine two weeks ago, and she didn’t want to. She went throughout this entire pandemic working in the intensive care unit, which pretty much was a COVID unit,” O’Malley said.
“She didn’t want to take [the COVID-19 vaccine] because of her religious beliefs and she was coerced into taking it. It’s like nobody—nobody should have to decide between their livelihood, being ‘a part of the team in the hospital,’ or take the [COVID] vaccine.”
She added: “Now we’re just making people take it, and then there are reactions to it.”
O’Malley also secretly recorded conversations with hospital staff who echoed her concerns that reports of adverse reactions are not consistently being submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), a passive reporting system run by U.S. health authorities.
Speaking with Dr. Maria Gonzales, an ER doctor with the HHS, O’Malley raised concerns that a man in his 30s was experiencing symptoms consistent with myocarditis after being vaccinated.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) earlier this year reported higher-than-expected rates of myocarditis among vaccinated youth.
His case is one of at least “dozens” that wasn’t submitted to VAERS, the nurse told O’Keefe.
“They are not reporting … because they want to shove it under the mat,” Gonzales tells O’Malley in the clip.
Another registered nurse at the same federal government facility, Denna Paris, meanwhile told O’Malley that “nobody” is writing the VAERS reports “because it takes over a half-hour to write the damn thing,” noting that she has seen “a lot” of people experience side effects from the COVID-19 vaccines.
The COVID-19 vaccine is “not doing what its purpose was,” O’Malley claimed, adding: “If we [government] are not gathering [COVID vaccine] data and reporting it, then how are we going to say that this is safe and approved for use?” she added.
O’Malley added that she isn’t afraid of blowing the whistle “because my faith lies in God and not man … You know, like what kind of person would I be if I knew all of this.”
“This is evil at the highest level,” she charged. “You have the FDA, you have the CDC, that are both supposed to be protecting us, but they are under the government, and everything that we’ve done so far is unscientific.”
The Epoch Times has contacted the FDA, CDC, and the HHS for comment.
The CDC states on its website that the known risks of COVID-19 illness and “its related, possibly severe complications, such as long-term health problems, hospitalization, and even death, far outweigh the potential risks of having a rare adverse reaction to vaccination, including the possible risk of myocarditis or pericarditis.”
