This month’s collection of “Women Under Sharia” accounts comes to us not only from Islamic Republics, like Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan, but notably—and increasingly—also European countries like Austria and Belgium. What this tells us is that the doctrine, ideology, and social mores of shariah are being carried with migrants who leave traditionally Muslim countries and move into traditionally Christian countries of Western Europe.
