WHAT TO DO ABOUT ILLEGAL MIGRATION TO THE USA

It is not as complicated as it is thought to be.

A.  NO BENEFITS FOR ILLEGAL MIGRANTS IN THE USA

Those looking for excuses for open borders often say “We are a nation of immigrants, and while that is true, there is a difference between then and now that is significant. The USA was a nation of motivated immigrants, immigrants who came to build a better life and who were thankful for the opportunity. My great-grandparents came with virtually nothing, and the first things they did was look for work – any work – and learn English. They raised their kids to be Americans and proud to be Americans and to love everything American, while still valuing their own traditions. Today, 85% of the illegals are coming into the USA with one motive – to get benefits, to get housing and money for food. And they have been told before they left home that they would get everything they want if they got across that border.

Sure, there are some with legitimate cases for asylum, and they should come in the right way as defined by International Law. 95% of those entering the USA illegally today do not qualify for asylum under International Law or American Law.

But, I’d bet that if you informed migrants that there would be no benefits for illegal migration, they would not come. And then, make sure the words that there will be no benefits, are backed by reality.

By the way, International Law does not promise benefits for illegal migration.

B. ENFORCE IMMIGRATION LAWS ALREADY ON THE BOOKS.

That means deporting those whose visas have expired, students who have over-stayed student visas, tourists who have overstayed their tourist visas,

That also means revoking visas of students who have violated their visas by being involved in politics in the USA and for students who are collecting proprietary information for their home nations (like China).

Remember, the 9/11 terrorists were in the USA with expired student visas.

C. CLOSED AND SECURE BORDERS.

This is simply common sense — both to. protect American communities, and discourage illegal migration before it starts.

And no stupid talk about electronic border equipment that sees people after they invaded, not before they cross the line. Walls and fences are the only way to go.

But most importantly, publicaly, loudly, clearly, publicize that the border is closed. Make sure that information is widely available

D. AND. Importantly, prevent, ban, cut funding, seize assets, of organizations that aid and encourage and facilitate masses of clearly illegal migrants.

That means the Mexican Cartels (prevent transfers of funds to them), and Catholic Charities (which set up operations in Honduras and elsewhere to oppose Trump) which has been organizing mass migration from some countries and informing illegal migrants how to avoid the law. Note, that it is illegal to educate people on how to avoid and evade the law, and organizations that do this should be penalized and banned.

E. And, if the Cartels continue to run illegals into the USA and support other illegal activities in the USA, under International law, as established in Mexico v USA, the Hague, the US has a right to take any military action necessary to protect its borders and citizens.

One more point.

F. Perhaps it is time for legal immigrants to sue the Biden Administration, Homeland Security, Obama, Biden, and all the leadership of “sanctuary States” for discrimination. Legal immigrants who went through hell at times to get to the USA and become citizens the legal way, like my wife, resent the fact that illegals have been admitted, supported, and encouraged, and even promised the vote in some states. Lawsuits seem to be the only means of redressing problems today.

The agenda needs to be to come up with ideas of what to do with those who are in the USA illegally.
