Feb 03, 2024, Memphis, TN:

No arrests were made after a demonstration Saturday afternoon shut down traffic for hours on the Interstate 40 bridge over the Missippi River at Memphis, police said. Memphis has two bridges over the Mississippi River and the I55 Bridge had been shut down for maintenance. When the protesters closed down the I40 bridge, all traffic from eastern Arkansas and west TN, going traveling over the river was halted. While the Palestinian protesters may have seen this as an expression of their Freedom of Speech, they apparently never considered the life threatening danger they created if an ambulance was transporting from Arkansas to the Regional Trauma Center in Memphis. The demonstration was in support of the fighting in Palestine. Protest organizers intended for this act to cause terror to the general population. Organizers of this attack were identified as Jena Abuirshaid and another female that would only give her name as Ala’a.
