Dr. Rich Swier, Investigator/Researcher/Writer Dr. Richard M. Swier, Ed. D., LTC, US Army (Ret.), a 23-year Army veteran who retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1990. Was awarded the Legion of Merit for his years of service. Additionally, was awarded two Bronze Stars with “V” for Heroism in ground combat operations, the Presidential Unit Citation, and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm while serving with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam. He is a graduate of the Field Artillery Officers Basic and Advanced Courses, and U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. Commanded two nuclear capable field artillery units in Europe, served as Adjutant of the 7th Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg, N.C., and was responsible for anti-terrorism and terrorism counter action doctrine while assigned to the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe, VA. He culminated his career as the Deputy Inspector General for U.S. Army Pacific Command, the Army Component Command for U.S. Forces Japan, U.S. Forces Korea and Alaskan Command. Richard holds a Doctorate of Education from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA, a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems from the George Washington University, Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Washington University, St. Louis, MO. Clare Lopez, President Lopez Liberty LLC Conservative defender of the U.S. Constitution & Western Civilization President of Lopez Liberty LLC, former VP for Research & Analysis at Center for Security Policy (2014 – 2020), a Senior Fellow at the London Center for Policy Research, and a member of the Board of Advisors for the Canadian Mackenzie Institute. She serves as a member of the Boards of Advisors/Directors for the Center for Democracy and Human Rights in Saudi Arabia, the United West, and the Voice of the Copts. She has been a Visiting Researcher and guest lecturer on counterterrorism, national defense, and international relations at Georgetown University. Ms. Lopez is a regular contributor to print and broadcast media on subjects related to Iran and the Middle East and the co-author of two published books on Iran. Lopez received a B.A. in Communications and French from Notre Dame College of Ohio and an M.A. in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University.
