This morning’s news from Europe, 2/17/2024 – the NATO Foreign Minister’s meeting – disgusted me.
Sure, I wish Trump had not made a comment that he would let Russia overwhelm them if they did not pay up, A bit extreme.
But, their response was worse.
The clear theme of the meeting — How dare the USA, or a US politician, demand that Europe pay what their treaty agreement demands. How dare the USA demand that Europe actually keep its word.
Don’t Americans know their role in life is to keep sending money and help Europe even if Europe spends its money on infrastructure and free education, while America goes into debt?
This attitude is unacceptable.
